We recommend the following minimum standards for your computing environment for you to best enjoy the Puppet Guardian experience.
Your Internet Connection
Internet Connection Check
Puppet Guardian uses Adobe's Flash client server application, where your computer's Flash Player needs to connect to our server. If there are connectivity problems between your flash player and the our server, a "failed to connect server" error message will appear. And you will not be able to play the game.
First, please check your connection to see if you can play the game in your current Internet environment (click Check Connection). After the test, if "OK" is displayed, then you should be able to play the game at a good level of performance.
Connection Speed
This game is best played with a broadband connection of more than 1.5Mbps. DSL or Cable connections are usually fine. Office connections usually have enough bandwidth but sometimes have firewall issues.
TCP/IP Port Number
If your Win/ Mac system is using a firewall or some kind of security or virus software, you may have to make the following TCP/IP ports available:

- 8080

Your Computer or Device
At the moment, Puppet Guardian can only be played on a Mac or a PC (Personal Computer). We do not offer any support for media devices like the iPod or handheld computers like Palm.

How to Setup your "Cookie"
Windows
⇒ Internet Explorer 7.x
- Select Internet Option from the Tool menu.
- Click on "Privacy" Tab.
- Click on “Advanced”.
- Check the “Override automatic cookie handling”
- Confirm that “Accept” is selected for both “First-party Cookies” and “Third-party Cookies.”
- Then Click on “OK” and you are done.
⇒ Firefox 3.x
- Select [Option] from the Tool menu.
- Click on Privacy Tab and under[Cookies], check the box next to [accept cookies from sites] and [accept third party cookies]
- Lastly, click on [OK] to close
Mac

- Select [Preferences] from the [Firefox] menu.
- Click on Privacy Tab and under[Cookies], check the box next to [accept cookies from sites] and until they [expire].
- Lastly, click on Exit to close.
Security
In Puppet Guardian, your personal information is protected by SSL or by a secure server. If you use a browser which adheres to this security function (most do), will automatically encrypt any personal information you send and receive. Even if the sent data is intercepted by a third party, the contents will remain safe. A “key” will be displayed at the bottom of the browser window showing that the data on that page is being protected by SSL.
