We have added a new guild: The Thieves Guild. There is
also a new category of items: Treasure Chests.
The Thieves Guild will be present in each tower. This guild
helps you open your treasure chests when you take them from the Tower Bosses.
The Tower V Genie features the Demon Treasure Chest.
The Tower VI Salamander features the Flame Treasure
Chest.
The new items you can get from the two new treasure chests
include:
Flame Series: Swords and Whips
Powerful Accessories: Many beautiful and powerful kinds
Lightening Series: Hammers, Bows, and Spears
Frost Series: Lances
Another new feature is that you can purchase extra dice
rolls when you run out with Gold Coins
Owners of Basilisk armor will no longer have the power of 5
Zoasite gems because of the disproportionate advantage that armor provided
Also check the right click menu, you can now turn on and off
game effects (like the dice, and team glowing circles) for better performance
The Warehouse Guild enjoys a big boost; now store up to 500
different items and try the sorting feature that allows you to view items by all the column headers
We are also changing the color of jewelry cards

Announcing the Magic Bag Feature
This new feature allows you to automatically carry new items in a special bag so you don’t have to waste time organizing your Item Window and Synth Jar while in the towers.

Announcing The Puppet Guardian MMORPG Beta Release
Portland, OR - Policros, an online game publisher that collaborates with Japan’s most innovative independent game developers to bring rich and inventive Japanese entertainment to an English speaking audience, announces the beta launch for a new online Flash role-playing adventure game, Puppet Guardian. This game was developed in Japan by the independent game innovator Cold Breath, whose hit, Livly Island, is now operated by Sony Entertainment through its So-Net portal.
Puppet Guardian is the result of the unique sensibility of its creator, Kentaro Ishizaka, and his vision for a fresh, unique, and richly immersive game experience. The game’s animation style is idiosyncratic and fun. Its rich, diverse, and extensive catalogue of items are detailed and beautifully rendered. One of the game’s hallmarks is that, over time, players develop interesting and singular characters that are unlike any others.
Puppet Guardian is the world’s first game that combines massively multiplayer online role-playing with board-game play. Players move through the game by rolling dice. This familiar board game format, where movement depends on random dice rolls, combined with the fact that there are seven different towers, makes every player’s path through the game unique. And it is this path that determines the items a player begins to collect and use: the weapons, the gear, the clothes and, especially, the combinations thereof.
This is how the game ensures the development of a unique identity for each player’s avatar.
In Puppet Guardian, success depends on cooperation. There is no competition between players. Players combat Monsters as they journey to acquire new materials and powers and the outcome of these journeys depends on the ability to form teams to pool resources and skills. The game design enforces a quality of openness and friendship between all players that is uncommon in the online role-playing world. This makes the game an uncommon pleasure to play.
Puppet Guardian rests on proprietary software called Cold Gate that enables large simultaneous multiplayer usage and allows Puppet Guardian players to use a single character in multiple Cold Breath game environments. So avatars and their unique qualities are portable within all Cold Breath game environments.

Beta Release Updates
The following are the main game updates contained in the Puppet Guardian Beta Release:
・Stone Monuments in the first field of each Tower to instruct new users
about the need to roll dice.
・"Start" indicators above the Dice button to remind users of the need to
roll dice.
・Redesigned Tower transition and login screens.
・Change to the Ranch Guild pet purchasing process, allowing pets to
appear to their new owners immediately upon purchase.
・The ability to see up to 200 items on the extended "Buy Item" list
screens in the Merchant Guild.

Announcing our Pets!
Puppet Guardian has introduced Pets into the game. Enter into a contract with the Ranch Guild (found in the tower lobbies) to get your Pet and then enjoy the companionship of a loyal (and useful!) pet. All pets have Dice and attack power, which can really help on your Guardian's journeys. Horses, Dogs, Cats, and Parrots can be yours anytime and check the Ranch often to get find rare and exotic Pets with special powers that are sometimes featured.

Now Available in our Lobbies: The Barber, Pharmacy, and the Ranch Guild
We have added all the services available in Puppet Guardian to the lobbies of each of of the game's towers。 While the Warehouse Guild (the guild is a great way to store extra items, by the way) has been there since the game's debut, now the lobbies are a convenient place to get a cure or potion; get your hair cut, styled, or colored (beards too for you guys); and get a pet.
